Day 1 : Minneapolis

We fly to Minneapolis and settle into our accommodations near the Mall of America. Arrival times permitting, take time to visit the largest shopping, dining, and entertainment complex in the United States.

Day 2 : North Dakota

Guests arriving today will join us this morning before we are off to discover America’s national parks. We begin our journey to Jamestown, North Dakota, and keep watch for intriguing wildlife, like bison, along the way.

Day 3 : Theodore Roosevelt National Park

Our morning drive takes us past wheat fields, grazing land, and oil wells. We arrive at Theodore Roosevelt National Park this afternoon to admire the incredible scenery and wildlife. This evening, we have a steak dinner at Pitchfork Steak Fondue and enjoy the Medora Musical, a rousing patriotic salute to Teddy Roosevelt and North Dakota.

Day 4 : Montana

After an included breakfast, we visit Fort Peck Interpretive Center to learn about the largest earth-filled dam in Montana. Completed in 1940, the dam provided thousands of jobs during the Great Depression and helped support Montana’s economic growth. We stop in Glasgow, Montana, for an included lunch and continue on until we reach Havre, where we check in to our comfortable overnight accommodations.

Day 5 : Glacier National Park

This morning, we depart for Glacier National Park, the “Crown of the Continent.” Ranches and grazing lands give way to majestic mountains as we drive across Montana. Enjoy time in East Glacier Park Village, a charming community with spectacular views, before we continue along scenic Highway 2 around the southern edge of Glacier National Park to Whitefish. Here, we enjoy a panoramic view of snow-capped mountains, lush forests, and glistening lakes from a breathtaking lift ride.

Day 6 : Going-to-the-Sun Road

Today, we explore Glacier National Park with local guides. Board vintage red touring buses and travel one of the most scenic routes in the world: Going-to-the-Sun Road. This beautiful region is comprised of dense forests, alpine meadows, cascading waterfalls, sparkling lakes, and more than 20 glaciers. After the tour, we make our way to Great Falls for our overnight accommodations.

Day 7 : The Gates of the Mountains

Experience the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Interpretive Center, located near where the explorers spent almost a month portaging around five waterfalls. Afterwards, the scenery envelopes us during a boat ride through a three-mile-long canyon known as the Gates of the Mountains. Forged by the Missouri River through 1,200-foot limestone cliffs, the gorge was named by Meriwether Lewis in 1805. Watch for wildlife along our route as we learn more about the intriguing history of the area from our expert guide. This evening, we stay in Helena, Montana’s capital city.

Day 8 : Mammoth Hot Springs

Our morning scenic drive takes us along the crystal-clear Gallatin River to the gateway town of Gardiner, Montana. We enter Yellowstone National Park through its original entrance and spend time exploring beautiful and otherworldly Mammoth Hot Springs. Keep watch for a variety of unique wildlife throughout our visit while taking in unbeatable views. Our accommodations for the next two nights are in West Yellowstone.

Day 9 : Yellowstone

Today an expert park guide joins us for a full-day tour of incredible Yellowstone National Park, best known for its geysers and hydrothermal activity. During our tour, we make stops at Old Faithful, the world's most famous geyser, and Artist Point. Have your camera ready to capture stunning views of Upper and Lower Yellowstone Falls. Watch for bison, moose, elk, mule deer, antelope, and bears!

Day 10 : Cody

Our day begins with a drive to Cody, Wyoming, the rodeo capital of the world. After an included lunch, we stop at the Buffalo Bill Historic Center to explore fascinating exhibits about the Wild West. Author James Mitchner called this world-class collection “The Smithsonian of the West.” This evening, we cowboy up at Cody Cattle Company with an all-you-can-eat chuckwagon dinner, followed by a show and the Cody Nite Rodeo.

Day 11 : Devils Tower

We continue through Wyoming with a stop at Devils Tower, the first national monument in America. Learn about how the tower formed over millions of years and became a significant cultural site for many Native American tribes. Afterwards, we travel into South Dakota to enjoy two nights in Deadwood, a historic gaming town where the Old West is alive and well.

Day 12 : Mount Rushmore & Crazy Horse

We begin our day with an exciting 4x4 Jeep adventure through Custer State Park. Bison, elk, mule deer, bighorn sheep, pronghorns, prairie dogs, and many other species live in the park’s wide-open plains and granite peaks. Our professional Jeep driver-guide will safely get us up-close to the majestic wildlife. Our next adventure includes a drive into the Black Hills to view the majestic and monolithic Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse memorials.

Day 13 : The Badlands

Today, we travel through Badlands National Park, one of the most fascinating geological displays in the world. We finish our loop of the park with a visit to the famous Wall Drug Store. Later, we celebrate our travels with a fantastic Farewell Dinner in Mitchell, South Dakota. Afterwards, we head to Sioux Falls for our overnight accommodations.

Day 14 : Falls Park

We start our last day in South Dakota with a visit to beautiful Falls Park. Enjoy the scenery of Sioux Falls’ namesake and see some of the first buildings developed in the city. Afterwards, we drive back to Minneapolis and our guests from Minnesota and Wisconsin return home. The remainder of our group stays overnight near the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport.

Day 15 : Fly Home

Return home with wonderful lifelong memories of our Majestic Parks adventure.
